In June 2014 as part of the DIVAcontemporary South Dorset Ridgeway Seasonal Sound Walks Project, my DIVAcontemporary colleague, Victoria Pirie and I visited Kingston Russell Stone Circle near Abbotsbury to experience and document the Summer Solstice Sunrise. Six months later we were there again to celebrate the Winter Solstice sunrise.
Inspired by these events I decided to visit this beautiful and atmospheric location every month at sunrise during 2015 to photograph and record each occasion.
