seasonal sound walks

Discover through sound the seasonal character of the Ridgeway landscape, environment and place. Using walks being developed by the Dorset Countryside team participants will create soundscapes that explore village and landscape from different perspectives including geology, biodiversity, old and new traditions, history, memory, views, scenery and the weather.

The soundscapes involve, field recording and editing sound with work distributed through aporee, the global sound map http://aporee.org/maps/, soundcloud, spreaker digital radio and as part of an app being developed for the Ridgeway. http://satsymph.co.uk/projects-and-events/interpretation/south-dorset
